Abstract:
The research was conducted in Sambas district, in order to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of tax non-metallic from minerals and rocks, as well as efforts - the efforts of local governments to raise tax revenue Non Metals & Minerals Rocks and deal with the environmental impact of making non-metallic minerals and rocks. The increased physical development infrastructure means there is also an increase in the need for the procurement of non-metallic minerals and rocks (rocks, sand, soil) and also the number of workers who work in the mining and quarrying sector is also likely to increase. So the increase in government revenues through tax collection and processing of non-metallic minerals and rocks, but on the other hand the exploitation of non-metallic minerals and rocks on a large scale will have an impact on the environment, so it will bring harm to areas such as the occurrence of landslides and damaged roads and bridges.
