Abstract:
ABSTRACT This research aims to knows Potential of Tourism Object Melawi's Regency and Development's Strategy. Data were collecting by field orientation and interview. Primery data were collecting in the field of the object of tourism and sample were taken by purpossive sampling of respondent, especially concerning tourism object leading. Secondary data were collecting by research reporst, working maps,tables of related institutions, monograph of district/village and others. The result was showed that this time Melawi's tourism is still underdeveloped and mostly are minimal of infrastructure. At short-term the main task are to explore potential, create database, structuring, develop and implementing programs for quality development.
