Penerapan Budidaya Ikan Secara Akuaponik Dalam Bak Terpal di lahan Pasang Surut

Abstract

Aquasponics is the rearing of fish and plants in a cultivation system. This system, the fishes contribute nutrients from impurities that can be fertilizer for plants, while the plants serve to reduce waste from the fish so as to reduce toxic substances into harmless substances. In addition, the plant will also improve water quality through the supply of oxygen in the water that is used to preserve fish. The purpose of this activity is to optimize the fish rearing in the temporary pond thast used swamp water in aquaponics system, to increase the income and welfare of the community. The application method in this IbM is a direct application activities on the ground were accompanied by training and mentoring. To determine the succes of the activities carried out an evaluation of the cooperators and financial analysis of the aquaponics system. The results showed that the knowledge society activity increased after the tarining sessions, both cultivation technology and entrepreneurial management. Based on the evaluation by an increase in the cultivation technological mastery of 48.3 to 66.5, an increase of 41.2%. Aquaponics businesses can be profitable on a cash cost of Rp. 1.700.000.00-3.100.000.00 and the value of RC ratio on cash cost of 1.23 to 1.4.
